Following the poor performance of the witnesses paraded by the Peoples Democratic Party and its gubernatorial Candidate, Isa Ashiru Kudan, the Kaduna State Youth Alliance for Peace, has intercepted plans by the above-mentioned party and their candidate to instigate massive protest in the state, rejecting the judgement, since they reasonably understand that the ruling of the Tribunal will not go in their favor.
As keen observers of the proceedings at the Tribunal, we know as a fact that the Court is a small room with a capacity of less than 100 persons. We are disturbed that the leading opposition party in the state is mobilising their sympathisers from each of the 255 electoral wards to come to the State Capital as if, the Judegement will be passed in Ahmadu Bello State Stadium or Murtala Square
We believe that this massive mobilisation they are embarking on may resort to disruptive means and public demonstrations in an attempt to destabilize the peace and tranquility we are enjoying in our state and dent the credibility of the Judiciary which is impartial.
In light of these findings, we wish to call on the relevant security agencies be on high alert and take proactive measures to ensure the maintenance of peace and order during and after the tribunal’s judgement is delivered.
The Coordinator and Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) New-Media Forum, Comrade Musa Mohammed, has expressed strong conviction that the outcome of the Kaduna Governatorial Election Petitions Tribunal slated for Thursday 28th, September 2023, will be in favour of Senator Uba Sani and APC. “I have confidence in the Governatorial Election Petition Tribunal, that the judiciary will deliver the right judgement. “I am confident in the judiciary. The tribunal had earlier announced that it will on Thursday, deliver judgment on the petitions challenging the declaration of Se. Uba Sani as the winner of the 2023 Governatorial election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
According to Comrade Mohammed, in a statement issued in kaduna on Tuesday, there is no cause for alarm.
The APC chieftain boasted that media frenzy and the oppositions false allegetions will not stop the judiciary from reaffirming Uba Sani as the winner of the 2023 Governatorial election.
He said, “ I am more than confident that the judgment will be resoundingly in favour of our dear governor, Sen. Uba Sani.
“In my opinion, it is evidently clear that the grounds of the petitions we made against Governor Uba Sani victory, has no merit,they all baseless. I appeal to all our supporters and the good citizens of kadun state to be calm and patient. Thursday will be great day for us”.
The announcement of Bashir Adewale Adeniyi’s appointment as the Acting Comptroller General of Customs for the Nigeria Customs Service while he was on an official assignment at the World Customs Organization (WCO) Policy Commission and Council Session in Brussels was met with jubilation, not just among Customs officers but also by Nigerians and the international community.

The concern staff of Kaduna state media cooperation (KSMC) have clarified their reason for kicking against the renewal of the tenure of their Managing Director Malam Ibrahim Ismail Ahmed saying under him the income of station has reduced to below 10% while staff performance is almost zero due to his failure to maintain harmonious relationship with the staff.
In the petition by the concerned staff of KSMC addressed to the Executive Governor of Kaduna state, and obtained by Journalists, they called for deep investigations.
The petitioners said, “kaduna state government loses several millions of naira every year to corruption and fraudulent practices in the KSMC. “We have never seen anyone so engrossed in corruption and fraudulent activities like him.
The KSMC staff said, “We write to bring to your notice the abuse of powers of office and other fraudulent activities being perpetrated by the MD and ask for your urgent investigations.” The staff listed corruption, high handiness and arrogance as some of their reasons for kicking against tenure extension of their MD Ibrahim Ismail Ahmed.
“This clarification has become necessary in view of the response written by our embattled MD in the name of patriotic staff of KSMC”. The petitioners listed their reasons as follows.
1. His two term tenure has expired so also the 3 month extension granted him at the expiration of his second term – so it is illegal to extend his tenure.
2. He is also so corrupt to the extent of selling to himself, his official vehicle at 1 million naira and sold it 11million.
3. He doesn’t support the present governor candidacy from initial stage, as he supported the candidacy of Dattijo, and now that Uba Sani won, he don’t care to propagate the activities of the government contrary to article 1 on the schedule establishing the media corporation, also the monthly over head course of N18 million allocated to KSMC diverted for personal use.
4. He lacks the human relation needed galvernise the staff to move the station forwardThese are some of the reasons we wrote our petition to intimate the Gov not due any other reasons as he claimed – We therefore wish the Gov will look into our complain and take immediate action.
“Based on the foregoing, we humbly crave your indulgence, and therefore request you to use your office to cause a discreet and thorough investigation to be carried out into the issues raised in this petition so as to save the famous Kaduna state media cooperation (KSMC) and to bring the man of this illegality to book as public office is a position of public trust.” When contacted, the Managing Director Ibrahim Ismail Ahmed, said, “Please stop disturbing me with all these calls, go and write whatever you people want to write. Go ahead and put it on the internet and everywhere please.”
The Medical Director and CEO, Federal Medical Centre Jalingo, Taraba state, Dr. Aisha Shehu Adamu, has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu on her 63rd birthday.
In a press statement released and made available to Journalists in jalingo, the State capital of Taraba, Dr. Aisha Adamu described Senator Tinubu as one of the few women who have used their positions to touch humanity and answer the calls of benevolence.
The Medical Director explained that through her New Era Foundation, which was set up during her time as the Lagos State Governor’s wife to help women and children, and now her Renewed Hope Initiative, Senator Tinubu has shown that spouses of public servants can play a vital role in good governance by lending their own hands.
She noted that President Tinubu’s Wife political success validated the campaign for women involvement in politics, stressing that “she has shown this through her genuine commitment to the welfare of ordinary people.”
She further hailed the impact that the Nigeria’a first lady has made on the current national regime.

Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Fakai, has commended President Bola Tinubu’s inclusion of youths in the ministerial list and other key positions in his government.
speaking with journalists in Abuja, Hon. Fakai explained that appointing youths as ministers would bring several benefits to the government and society as a whole.
Among the youths who were nominated and appointed are Dr. Jamila Bio as Minister for Youth development, Ayodele Olawande as state minister for youth development, Yetunde Morinola SSAP school feeding, Atika Ajanah SSAP social events, Moremi Ojudu SSAP community engagement, Hon. Fakai urged the young nominees to prioritise future-focused policies, saying, “Appointing youths as ministers would promote better representation and inclusivity in governance.

“I appeal to the younger nominees to prioritise long-term planning and sustainable policies that will have a lasting positive impact on future generations when appointed. Every organization or institution that is thriving is obviously blessed with a good leader. The Federal University Dutsanma FUDMA), is indeed thriving because a man with a remarkable ability is at the helms of affairs. That person is Professor Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi.
Since he assumed duty as the Vice Chancellor of Federal University, Dutsanma, katsina state, the institution has witnessed monumental and unprecedented development in various areas, including academic activities, physical and infrastructural as well as students and staff wellfare.
A) EXPANSION OF PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURE.
When Professor Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi took over the mantle of leadership as the Vice Chancellor, the university has witnessed more infrastructural development across the institution.
B) PROCUREMENT OF TEACHING FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT.
In addition to physical infrastructural development, the university has also witnessed progress in the area of procurement of academic facilities.
Laboratories, workshops and studios were stocked with relevant chemicals, computers and machineries to aid effective and efficient teaching and learning.Also, new electronic boards, computers and magnetic boards were procured for classrooms, micro- teaching laboratory and ICT center.
Prof. Armaya’u Bichi is also working tirelessly to see that the university is raised to international standard.
C) IMPROVEMENT OF STAFF WELFARE.
With the support from the University coffers and the judicious use of TETFund intervention funds for staff training and development by the university Management, Prof. Armaya’u Bichi has been able to increase the academic and professional capacity of the university workforce.
This has been made posible through sponsorship of staff for Post graduate programmes and academic conferences for teaching staff and professional training and workshops for all cadres of administrative staff both locally and internationally. To boost water supply in the university, Prof. Bichi has dug bore holes in the College.
Solar powered bore holes have been sunk across the institution.
Similarly, solar powered lights have also been installed by the Vice Chancellor to illuminate the campus at night. This is to further guard against insecurity on campus. While Close Circute Television (CCTV) were also mounted for surveillance all over the campus.
Prof. Bichi has been praised for his resilience and dogged efforts in the running of the Institution since assumption of Office.
He has transformed creditably both in academics, human development and infrastructure.
His uncommon sacrifice, accountability and transparency in governance, majority of the populace describing his achievements as unprecedented in the history of the Institution.
