‘The indefatigable and irresistible Orator of Kaduna State’.

31 December 1970 is symbolic to human society; on this day, kaduna State was blessed with a special breed – His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, who has grown into a giant reputed for his selfless nature in dealing with concerns of humanity and issues of public interest.

Senator Uba Sani, the elected executive Governor of Kaduna state, is a leader by example, an altruistic personality, a versatile politician, administrator, an intellectual of rare breed, our likable politcal leader and the youngest governor in the history of Kaduna State.

Governor Uba Sani have clearly demonstrated that leadership is not in age, but in experience encapsulated in strategically defined vision, well-directed proactiveness and collectivity.

His leadership gift is further reflected in his tireless devotion to duty, in his pragmatic management of issues and in his amazing deployment of intelligence to solve knotty problems.

Within few days in the office as the executive Governor of Kaduna state, we are expecting more oriented programmes to come across the state.

It is obvious that the brand new governor have a place in history as one of the best things that have happened to Kaduna state.

Confidence is the foundation of leadership. It is confidence that separates average leaders from great leaders. In reality, self-confidence is a more important asset than skill, knowledge, or even experience. When leaders exhibit confidence, they are able to recognize success and maintain intact motivation while being constantly ambitious. Moreover, being confident enables leaders to forge stronger relationships with their fellow teammates.

He is an enigma, exceptional/phenomenal Leader, Astute Administrator, a Trailblazer and Uncommon Philanthropist.

A leader knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.

A great politician and a mobilizer and organizer of people who have carved a niche for himself in political administration.
Uba Sani is a dogged fighter and goal-getter who confronts every task with an uncommon tenacity to produce results within time.

Recalling his sterling performance when he held sway as Chairman of Senate committee on Banking insurance and other financial institution, which makes him emerged the best senator in the 9th Assembly and the Most Valuable Parliamentarian in the National Assembly for sponsoring an unprecedented number of bills.

I Comrade Musa Mohammed (Moonlight), earnestly and sincerely pray to Almighty Allah to grant you more wisdom and good health for more historic successes in the days, months and years ahead, to have a successful tenure in office.

 
The Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has extended his condolences to the families of the deceased and injured, the people of Zaria and the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, over the collapse of a section of the iconic Zaria Central Mosque on Friday 11th August 2023.

During a condolence visit to the Emir’s Palace, Governor Sani who was accompanied by other senior government officials, assured that the State Government will collaborate with the Emirate Council to expedite the mosque’s renovation, enabling worshippers to resume their religious duties. 

In efforts to provide financial support and cushion the shock of losing breadwinners unexpectedly, Governor Sani announced the provision of one million naira each,to the families of the eight worshippers who lost their lives while praying at the Zaria Central Mosque. 
Similarly, the sum of five hundred thousand naira was also provided to the injured who are currently receiving medical care in hospitals around Zaria. 

Meanwhile, those discharged and receiving care at home will receive the sum of two hundred thousand naira each.  “I was away on official duties, attending to critical issues affecting our state,when this unfortunate incident occurred. I spoke with His Highness and sent a delegation to express our condolences and for assessment. Today, I conveyed our condolences on behalf of the Kaduna State Government regarding the unfortunate incident that occurred at this iconic mosque” he said.

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III who was also in attendance during the condolence visit,on behalf of the entire Muslim Ummah sympathized with the people of Kaduna state over the tragic incident.

The Sultan commended Governor Sani for his generosity and efforts towards renovating the mosque.

Sultan Abubakar then urged the people to offer prayers for their leaders at all levels, trusting them to justify the confidence placed in them.
In his response, the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, informed the Governor and the Sultan that the over a century-old mosque was constructed in 1835 during the reign of Emir Abdulkarim. 

The Emir thanked the Kaduna State Government for the support and prayers,pledging that the funds would be given to the beneficiaries.
At the end of the condolence visit, the Emir led Governor Sani on an inspection tour of the scene of the collapsed mosque.

Very soon a time for merriment, for song and dance, and for sheer delight; a time for celebrations will be fully deserved, a time to count our blessings, name them one by one, and be pleasantly surprised at what the Almighty Allah has done for chosen Uba Sani as the number one citizen of Kaduna state. In a great testimony to the manifold blessings of Allah, the kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani will soon turn-arround the state. 

Uba Sani as the governor, a prosperous populace and a promising future. What more can anyone ask for? It is The Allah’s doing and it is marvellous in our sight.
The Emergence of Uba Sani the people’s governor which he already formally take the contract with the kaduna people for four years.
 As he takes the oath of office, millions of Kaduna indigene had been in a celebratory mood, knowing the landmarks of his predecessor in the last eight years, and the promise that the future holds.
By now, it ought to be clear that whoever the Almighty Allah has destined to wear a crown will do so. 
For obvious reasons, Uba Sani’s pathway to political power was paved with thorns. That is not fortuitous; gold, before it becomes refined, must pass through fire.
Governor Uba Sani truly passed through the fire of politics, but he has remained strong. 
He contested a house of representative seat under the CNPP, a Senate seat under the PDP twice, and contested again in 2019 under the plat form of APC, he strived to be a member of the Red Chamber, but this did not dampen his spirits.
During the All Progressive Congress (APC) primary for the governorship election in 2022, many thought that he wouldn’t be given the ticket, and he won the primary Election at last.

The will of the people has been heard and the will of the people has been heeded, that’s why we are lucky to have a visionary leader.

And the governor will bring the people of Kaduna together.

He will Unite the people A and unite the state.

I ask every citizen of Kaduna state to join Uba Sani in this cause.

Uniting to fight the common foes we face:

Anger, resentment, hatred, Extremism, lawlessness, violence, disease joblessness, hopelessness.

With unity, Uba Sani can do great things. Important things, he can right wrongs.

Uba Sani has pledge to pursue a vision that will make the State a land of prosperity, opportunity, peace and progress in the next four years.

He has come to fulfill it to justify the mandate given to him.

Grow the economy, equip the people with valuable skills, create jobs, and expand the range of opportunities available for everyone. To create a conducive environment for investors to thrive in our economy, and to make kaduna State the preferred destination to live, work, and invest.

Governor of Kaduna state, Senator Malam Uba Sani, will definitely create the right environment that will overcome all the challenges bedeviling the state.

The governor has already form a vibrant, diverse and inclusive team based on merit to ensuring his government’s strategic policies are aligned with the current realities and implemented transparently and effectively.

 The governor would rebuild the economy, educate the children, assist the vulnerable, and provide high levels of public service among others.

The security of Kaduna state is the paramount importance to him, and his administration will proactively go after all banditry and criminal elements in the state.

I am sure from what he said during taking oath of office, his government will take every possible measure to make every part of the state safe.

Visionary leadership entails very concise, attainable goals, and I believe Uba Sani will lead a government that can deliver for the people of Kaduna State.

Our youths are our future, and they will become teachers, doctors, engineers, technicians, entrepreneurs, and leaders someday, Uba Sani’s commitment to the youth of Kaduna State will be unwavering throughout his administration.
The youth as the backbone of our economic growth, he promised to support them with all the resources available to the government to actualize their dreams.

We should all trust Uba Sani, who promised to be humble in his dispensation, diligent in his execution, and sincere in his actions.
Uba Sani vision for the people of Kaduna, is to build a better future for everyone.

The people of Kaduna state now have cause for hope. If the morning shows the day, then there appears to be a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel.
And we should all know that, His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, Executive Governor of Kaduna state, has renewed the hope of the citizens. 

 A politically and religiously polarised and divided state may have begun the process of healing. 
Kaduna may eventually recover the lost grounds.Take, for instance, the recent appointments of the governor’s kitchen cabinets which includes Commissioners, Special advisers and special assistants.
The composition of Governor Uba Sani Government (administration), thereby ensuring that there shall be no predominance of persons from a few local government area or from a few ethnic or other sectional groups in his Government.

He will work very hard for basic human needs, like food security, education, health care, he will improved public transportation and increased hospital beds, etc, from his experience, he must deliver a better life to the people.
The people of Kaduna state select and elected future leader.
Kaduna are lucky to have Humble, Committed, hardworking and straightforward governor.
a very simple, focused and straightforward leader that would transform the state to a greater height.
He will fight against security challenges by confronting the root cause of the crisis and solving the challenge, the governor would use the residents in the community to resolve the long menace in the state.
As governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani will definitely change the face of the defunct headquarter of northern nigeria, through innovative security architecture, transportation, judicial reforms and friendly business environment, which will led to massive leap in the Internally Generated Revenue of the state and better life of the citizens. 
There is no doubt that he will make it, and will surely delivered.
from now Senator Uba Sani will be call “Kaduna politcal-manager-in-chief.”
My gut tells me history is going to call on UBA SANI to provide leadership, and he will fulfill it.
Uba Sani, the people’s governor, may be the ultimate proof kadunian’s political maturation, he still prefers to look inward.  Focused on domestic challenges. 
There’s needs for the opposition parties in the state to support Governor Uba Sani to bring kaduna back on track.
I am, appealing to members of the opposition parties to join hands with Uba Sani to take our dear state to a greater height. Let us bring our state back on course for the good of all.
Uba Sani may turn out as the ideal leader that kaduna state mostly desires and mostly deserves.

A political associate of Senate President, Dr. Jibril Tafida has alerted Nigerians to an alleged “secret scheming by some political troublemakers to cause a rift between the Senate President and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir Elrufai”.

Tafida who sounded the alert while answering questions from newsmen in Kaduna at the weekend, said “the claims of a purported anti-Elrufai petition handed down to a lawmaker from Kogi State was a lie from the pit of hell”.

He explained that the Senate President of this country “cannot be associated with such a pedestrian action and it is indeed laughable that a gullible few have taken them serious”.

He warned that”politicians who create this kind of false rift on the pages of newspapers don’t mean well for both the Senate, President Tinubu and Nigerians in general”.

He assured that devine punishment will befell politicians behind “the desperation to create the mischievous impression that the Senate President has anything against the former Kaduna Governor or vice versa”.

He lamented that with just three months to the emergence of a new administration in the country, “political troublemakers are back again with their usual agenda of creating bad blood between prominent people in the corridors of power”.

He also condemned persons behind the rumoured anti-Elrufai petition from Kogi and urged Senate President Godswill Akpabio to “ignore the rantings of enemies of harmony and stability of the country”

A voluntary organization that promotes peace and development in northern Nigeria, Arewa New Agenda (ANA), has raised concern over calls to sack the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume.

The ANA members led by its Convener and Chairman of Arewa New Agenda, Sen. Ahmad Abubakar MoAllahyidi, voiced their concern in a statement on Saturday.

The statement read in part: “At the heart of the matter is the recent statement by Chief Audu Ogbe, a respected elder statesman, who called for the removal of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume. Chief Ogbe led a press conference that brought together stakeholders from the Idoma community, expressing their dissatisfaction with the appointment of a Tiv nominee as a minister from Benue State. The stakeholders argued that the move further marginalized the Idoma ethnic group within the State”.

ANA acknowledged the democratic right of Chief Ogbe and his fellow stakeholders to express their opinions on the issue. However, the group raised concerns about the subsequent claims that the appointment was orchestrated by SGF Akume to marginalize the Idoma community. ANA emphasized that such allegations could potentially send a misleading message to the Nigerian public.

The statement further said, “Sen. Akume’s appointment as SGF was initially met with widespread acceptance from various political and social circles across the country. His inclusion was perceived as a balancing factor, crucial for maintaining political stability after the closely contested 2023 presidential election”.

ANA highlighted that Akume’s appointment was a strategic choice to represent the northern region, particularly the northern Christian block, in President Tinubu’s cabinet.

ANA firmly asserted that the significance of Akume’s role transcended local politics in Benue State. They underscored that he played a crucial role in maintaining political equilibrium on a national level. The group expressed its disappointment that Chief Ogbe’s comments had exposed him to criticism, and they called on him and others to retract their statements for the sake of northern unity and broader national cohesion.

Touching on the recent political tensions within Benue State, ANA urged the state’s elder statesmen to step up and ensure peace prevails, preventing further disruption. They reminded the public that the president holds the prerogative to appoint the SGF and that the choice is made based on competence and loyalty. Similarly, the appointment of Federal Ministers adheres to the constitutional requirement of fair representation, ensuring that each state is represented in the cabinet.

In closing, the ANA called on President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to remain steadfast in the face of these challenges and to focus on his Renewed Hope agenda, which aims to uplift the nation through people-oriented policies.

The forum encouraged all northerners to rally behind SGF Akume and support his efforts as a pivotal figure within the President Tinubu-led administration.

The Arewa New Agenda re-affirmd the group’s commitment to fostering unity, peace, and progress in Nigeria.

A member of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna, Comrade Mohammed, says he is optimistic of victory in the petition filed by Hon. Isa Ashiru Kudan challenging the victory of Sen. Uba Sani in the March 2023 governorship election.

Speaking in an interview with Journalists, after the court seating in Kaduna on Friday, Comrade Mohammed, expressed optimism that APC and Uba Sani would emerge victorious at the tribunal.

”We are sure of victory for Gov. Uba Sani and APC at the tribunal,” he said.

He urged members of the party in the state to remain calm as they await the judgement of the Governatorial Election Petition.

“As democrats, we are calling on members of our great party, APC, across kaduna state, to be calm and to wait for the judgement.

“We are expecting a very positive and good verdict that would enhance the dignity of the judicial system of this country”.

Comrade Mohammed expressed hope that his governor and APC would succeed at the tribunal, and he have high hopes that the court would do the needful in its verdict.

“My expectation, is that our Governor Uba Sani and APC will succeed the petition at the tribunal.
This is because the petitioners don’t have enough to prove their case. The evidence was not overwhelming and it was not clear to everyone of us that the petitioners had no enough and clear evidence.The judiciary will be courageous and bold to deliver justice.”

A member of All Progressive Congress (APC), in kaduna state, Comrade Musa Mohammed has said he have confidence that Governor Uba Sani will emerge victorious at the tribunal.

Comrade Mohammed also said he have faith and confidence Uba Sani’s victory as the governor elect will remains firm and unshaken.

He made the statement during an interview with newsmen in Kaduna on Wednesday.

He assured all APC supporters of victory for Gov. Uba Sani and APC at the tribunal.

“I want to assure all members of All Progressive Congress (APC), and supporters of Governor Uba Sani, that we are standing tall and confident of victory”.

“With what we have before the tribunal, there is no cause for alarm.

“We believe that by the grace of God, we will glorify God and celebrate Uba Sani victory in the tribunal”.

“And we really appreciated the people of the state for their support for Uba Sani administration since inception”.

Comrade Mohammed noted that members of the party and the good citizens of Kaduna state were solidly behind governor Uba Sani and would continue to support him in prayers for him to emerge victorious at the tribunal.

He commended the governor Uba Sani for his developmental strides in his 70 days as the governor elect.

A Chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC), in Kaduna Comrade Musa Mohammed, has appealed to the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Kaduna State, Hon. Muhammad Isa Ashiru Kudan to withdraw his petition against the winner, Senator Uba Sani.

Comrade Mohammed stated this in a press statement issued to newsmen on Sunday, in Kaduna, saying, “Isa Ashiru Kudan and his party PDP should allow the people of the state to breathe”.

“His petition against the victory of the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate ‘Sen. Uba Sani’ is a distraction to both the governor and the people of the state and should not be allowed to continue.

“Uba San’s mandate is divine from the Almighty Allah, and any distraction against it from any quarters will not be tolerated by the people who over the years have been longing for democracy dividends from their leaders.

“As a member of APC an ident supporterwod Senator Uba Sani, it beats my imaginations and others that Isa Ashiru has choosen to be an agent of distraction by not letting the people breathe via his needless petition before the election petitions tribunal.”

“I will like to call the attention of Hon. Isa Ashiru Kudan and his co-travelers to withdraw this distractive petition against Uba Sani, because it is a critical period for any newly elected leader with cases before tribunal to establish their agenda and make significant strides towards fulfilling their promises to the people”.

“We want the newly governor to concentrate on realizing his ambitious agenda on:- Security, Agriculture, Education, Health, Investment, Transparency, and Inclusiveness with justice and fairness”.

“Isa Ashiru should consider the greater good of our state and its citizens”.

“As the good citizen of Kaduna state, hopping Sen. Uba Sani a successful tenure in office, and by the grace of Almighty Allah, he will leave a longlasting legacy for generations unborn”. Comrade Mohammed added.
