The relationship between Governor Uba Sani and his chief of staff Sani Liman Kila goes a long way right from when he was a senator and before, he has been consulting Kila on all critical decisions.

With excellent human relations skills, Kila has been able to presented Governor Uba Sani different capacity effectively, making the kaduna state government to function smoothly without rancour while performing his role effectively as the chief of staff.
His ability to reach out to each member of the state executive council, all appointees has confirmed his talent as an efficient manager of human resource, which will be needed to coordinate affairs for the governor and his administration.
With contacts in all parts of the country as retired Comptroller of Nigeria Immigration Service and good knowledge of how things work in each arm of government, there is arguably no better person to serve in the capacity of Chief of Staff than Sani Kila.
He is sociable, accessible, approachable, and ready to attend to people, and is one of those who gave their all to the APC in Kaduna state a chance to make a headway.

Alhaji Aminu Zaria, close associate of Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, praised the governor’s efforts to transform the state despite inheriting significant debt. He explained that with N4.7 billion deducted monthly from the state’s federal allocation, Sani is left with only N8 billion while ideally should have been receiving N12 billion.
Zaria while speaking to newesmen hailed Sani’s commitment to fiscal responsibility, noting that no new vehicles have been purchased for any officials, including the governor and the Deputy Governor.
“He believes in leading by example,” Zaria stated.
He recalled that the governor has also cut his own salary in half and reduced bonuses for his commissioners.
Despite the N800 million deducted monthly from the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) account due to inherited debts, Zaria expressed optimism about boosting revenue through strategic planning.
“Governor Sani is committed to creating an environment that fosters investment and local business,” he said, emphasizing that effective leadership can lead Kaduna towards a brighter future.
Less 24 hours to commence the planned October 1 Nationwide protest, Northern Coordinators of the #Endbadgovernance Protest across the 19 northern states have pulled out on grounds that organizers haven’t done enough provide security for protesters.
According to the Coordinators, the decision to pull out was reached after failure on side of national organizers to resolve the knotty issues around how to safeguard protesters and wade off hoodlums from hijacking the process again.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Northern Coordinators of #Endbadgivernance Protest ,Comrade Abdullahi Daura and Mal. Mohammed Musa Biu, the Coordinators disclosed that members were apprehensive about a repeat of the violence that erupted in Kano;Kaduna and other parts of the north and didn’t want anything destructive.
In the statement made available to journalists in Kaduna today, the Coordinators explained,”We have asked questions and wrote several requesting for security cover in at the convergence points in the north where people will join the protest action. But we are yet to get clear answer and measure taken to avoid violence and looting of property .
“Against this background, we are urging all out members all the nineteen states to obey the directives from the Coordinators and pulled until w get clearance from security agencies.”
While assuring Nigerians about their resolve to put pressure on the federal government to reverse all the unfriendly policies that have caused untold hardship ,it Stated ,” Lives and property of innocent citizens matter to us more anything.thus we back out until further notice”.

Elated by proactive measures taken to eliminate bandits in the northwest region, the National Forum for Peace and Unity (NFPU) has urged the Minister of State for Defence , Bello Matawalle to remain focused and avoid distractions on his avoid commitment to rid the country of bandits and other criminal elements.
According the forum, the intensified efforts by the federal government to rid the North-west of the menace of banditry, kidnapping and other forms of terrorism is gradually yielding results .
The Minister of State for Defence,Bello Matawalle, on September 3,sought the support of Sokoto State Government and citizens to execute President Bola Tinubu’s directive to flush out bandits and other criminals terrorising the North-West.
The National Forum for Peace and Unity in a press statement signed by the coordinator, Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmadu Dambata,passed a vote of confidence on Matawalle and called on Zamfara State Governor, Alhaji Dauda Lawal to stop the blame game over the insecurity challenges in the State and join together with his predecessor and Minister of Defence, former Governor Bello Mattawalle.
While stating that,”The people of Zamfara State are tired of frequent killings, kidnappings and threats of attack on communities that fail to contribute money to bandits, it said, those who accused Matawalle of having ties with bandits and the ones finding it different to face the reality of the feat achieved in the fight against banditry.
The statement further reads,”Anyone who wants progress and development of this country should be happy with the actions taken against banditry and stop the unnecessary blame games as well as thr political witch-hunting.
“We all know that banditry in the northwest region , especially Zamfara State requires a united and calculated approached from all stakeholders and former governors of the State to address once and for all.
“We insist that it’s not time for political blame game ,but the opportunity to be united and support the federal government to ensure that bandits are completely eliminated from the region.
“The forum therefore expressed dissatisfaction over the manner the state government is handling the security of lives and properties in the State and appealed to the Governor to rather explore the opportunity of having his predecessor as a Minister of State for Defence.”

He retired voluntarily from KSMC on January 31, 2002, and subsequently joined Lacom Communications Ltd. in Lagos, publishers of Policy Magazine. At Lacom, he served as the Northern Bureau Chief and co-partner in All Northern Transactions. Hon. Saidu Adamu’s loyalty to the PDP and its leadership has been evident throughout his career. In 2001, he contested the Birnin Gwari Local Government Chairmanship under the PDP. Despite his ambition, he demonstrated his commitment to the party by stepping down at the party’s request to allow the subsequent Chairman to assume the position. In addition, his dedication to the party’s principles was further highlighted when he contested and won both the Primary and the General Election into the Kakangi Federal Constituency of Birnin Gwari Local Government in the Kaduna State House of Assembly. This achievement underscored his ability to rally support and secure victories for the party while remaining aligned with its directives and leadership. A key requirement of a party secretary is a profound understanding of the internal dynamics and principles of the party.

Governor Uba Sani and other senior government officials received the President in Beijing, China for the State Visit to China and the 9th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation #FOCAC Summit with the theme: “Joining Hands to Advance Modernization and Build High-Level China-Africa Community with Shared Future”.
For Uba Sani , it was not a time for tea party , but an opportunity as a spin doctor to meet chief executive officers of major Chinese corporations to discuss business and various important matters of growth and development.
According to Global Times report, After China and Nigeria elevated their ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership, Uba Sani, the governor of Nigeria’s Kaduna State,said he is thrilled to see his state partner with China in a “smart city” project, which aligns with the country’s industrialization.
Kaduna State lies at the southern end of Nigeria’s northern plateau,and 80 percent of is 5 million population work in agriculture,according to media reports.
The smart city project will be built under cooperation with Chinese tech giant Huawei -“a very reliable partner,” Sani told the Global Times.
The project will enhance public security,efficiency and transparency in public service,and help his state to establish an e-government,make education, healthcare and talent cultivation “smart,” and boost the use of renewable energy, the governor said.
Sani hopes to form a joint committee between Kaduna government and Huawei “in one or two weeks.”
The smart city project is one of several broader deals between China and Nigeria that have been inked during the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
Chinese President Xi Jinping and Nigerian President Bola Tinubu held talks on Tuesday and announced the elevation of China-Nigeria ties They also witnessed the signing of cooperation documents including the application of the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, peanut exports to China and news media cooperation.
Sani said that China plays a significant role in Nigeria’s industrialization, and he is “more hopeful and confident that [after this time fat the FOCAC, we will see more fruits.”
Kaduna State has Nigeria’s first modernized railroad, the Abuja-Kaduna Railway. It is the first railway in Africa built based on Chinese technical standards.

The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has raised the alarm over the activities of fraudulent individuals and groups posing as tax collectors, defrauding unsuspecting members of the public.
Speaking at a Press Conference in Kaduna, the KADIRS Executive Chairman, Comrade Jerry Adams, warned that these impostors are operating a coordinated cartel to deceive the public, and are not authorized by the agency.
According to him, some of these impostors have already been apprehended, while efforts are ongoing to catch the remaining criminals and their sponsors. KADIRS assured the public of its commitment to ending the menace of fraudulent levy collectors and maintaining transparency, integrity, and accountability in all operations.
The agency also warned taxpayers to ensure that all tax clearance applications and payments are processed through official KADIRS channels, and not to make payments to private accounts or individuals. He also disclosed that some of its staff members have been implicated in issuing fake tax clearance certificates, and are taking stringent measures to identify and punish those involved.
Furthermore, Comrade Adams warned about the proliferation of fake drivers’ licenses and vehicle documents in the state, urging the public to be vigilant and ensure that all documents are obtained from authorized channels. “We have received reports of individuals and groups selling fake drivers’ licenses and vehicle documents, which is a serious security risk. We urge the public to report any suspicious activities to the authorities,” he said.
“The public is urged to report suspicious individuals or groups claiming to represent KADIRS without proper identification or authorization. With the public’s cooperation and vigilance, KADIRS aims to maintain a law-abiding and prosperous Kaduna State”, he told newsmen on the sidelines of the press conference.
Group under aegis of Victims of #EndBad Governance Protest(VEGP) have blamed Human Rights Activist and Politician, Mr.Omoyele Sowore for the unfortunate killings of innocent protesters during the ten days nationwide protest across the country .
The victims, who claimed were misled to embark on the nationwide protest warned against the dire consequences of another protest that will further endanger and impoverish citizens.
The #EndBadGovernance nationwide protest did fizzle out with many Nigerians, especially in the north with wounds, scars and financial losses.
However,the protest had continued even after President Bola Tinubu called for an end to the demonstrations that faced a crackdown from security forces, who reportedly shot at the protesters in various states in the northern part.
For the Victims,to avoid a repeat of the situation, Leader of the Team, Ibrahim Bawa Kajuru during a Press conference held at Arewa House, Kaduna on Wednesday posited that ,”Nigerians cannot afford to embark another round of sponsored protest without clear agenda to achieve my goal ,while the main sponsor Mr Sowore sat down in America and instigated innocent citizens to embark a protest that ended with no fruitful results
“We were unaware of being used to achieve ulterior political motives, but we are out to tell Nigerians that as direct victims, we are urging our fellow Nigerians, especially the youths to be weary of another round of deceit again.”
He stated ,” Innocent persons were killed and injured during the August protests without any move to either fight for them or file lawsuits to free those arrested. e gathered that the report from the United Action Front of Civil Society stated that 21 protesters were killed and over 1,100 arrested by police on the first day of the protest.
“We also learnt that at least, 17 persons were reportedly killed in Abuja, Kano, Niger, Borno, Kaduna and Jigawa, with several others injured on the opening day of the protest.”
One of victims in Kaduna ,Amina Abubakar ,a student ,who was brutalised spoke to journalists shortly after a press conference said they were mobilised to join the protest with a view to EndBad Governance that cause untold economic hardship and high cost of living.
According to her,they later discovered that the protest didn’t make the expected goal that cause the economic hardship because it was politically motivated to remove President Bola Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
Another one who lost his son, Mal Garba Ibn Mohammed said it is painful that his 22 years old son died over avoidable circumstance and warned parents to advise their children from be used this time .
Emmanuel Okonkwo ,whose shop was looted in Kaduna said any protest will no doubt be hijacked by hoodlums who are waiting for the slightest opportunity to loot and destroy properties. Stressing,” I want the government and security agencies to stop any form of protest,because it will always end being hijacked by Hoodlums.”
