The Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Musa Mohammed has vowed that the entire people of Kaduna North and kaduna state would remain committed to the course of delivering the party`s governorship candidate, Senator Uba Sani, come 2023 election.

Comrade Musa made the resolution while fielding questions from journalists in his Local Government Area, on Thursday.
He said that the entire Local Government Area was absolutely behind the candidature of Uba Sani.

“As a member and of the APC in my local government, we are working round the clock to deliver kaduna north for Uba Sani.

He urged to the APC and Uba Sani Supporters that all hands must be on deck to win the election.

“He is a popular candidate and I am rest assured that he is the next governor of Kaduna State”, he said

“Kaduna needed somebody of political sagacity as Uba Sani to manage the affairs of the state in 2023.

Comrade Musa said that Governor Nasiru Elrufai had laid the right foundation for progressive governance, as he had been responsive, progressive, and totally committed to the needs of the people.

He said that there was a strong need to use the 2023 elections to vote for APC across all levels, for consolidation and continuity of the remarkable work and achievement of Malam Nasiru El-Rufai administration.

According to him, it is crystal clear that the continuity of the APC government is the sure way to greater progress.

A member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, Comrade Musa Mohammed has called on the people of the State to support all candidates of the party in the forthcoming general elections.

Comrade Musa made the statement on Tuesday in Kaduna during a chat with newsmen.

He said the kaduna governatorial candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) Senator Uba Sani, has the capacity to deliver the dividends of democracy and usher in economic growth across the state

The astute politician urged members of APC and RUNDUNAR NASARA a group which will be inaugurated soon to go into the state and ensure that the party sustain the gains of democracy being delivered by President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Malam Nasiru El-Rufai.

He said, RUNDUNAR NASARA is a group that will cuts across the 23 local government area of Kaduna state.

“We will be going around the state to tell the electorate why our party must retain power both at the federal and State”.

“We want all of us to be adequately prepared for the task ahead. We will face obstacles, rejection and challenges, but remain undaunted, because APC is not like other party’s that will abandon it members”.

He vowed that kaduna state will be delivered to the party candidates in the election.

He said with the giant stride being made in the state by Governor Nasiru El-Rufai, the people have no option but to vote APC.

No fewer than Two Thousand four hundred members of the People Democratic party (PDP) in Maiburji Ward in kaduna north local government area of Kaduna State, on Sunday defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the forthcoming 2023 general election.
The defectors were led by Hon. Abba Usmanl Dankoli Councillor Maiburji Ward.

The defection of the PDP members into APC was consequent upon what they described as the unending deceit and deception within the party which they said, has not only continued to cause more harm to their personal development as politicians than good but also dangerous for the entrenchment of internal democracy within a political party.
Receiving the defectors into the APC fold, the Administrator, Kaduna Capital Territory, KCTA, Muhammad Hafiz Bayero who represent Senator Uba Sani governatorial candidate, the Senatorial candidate Muhammad Sani Dattijo and Hon. Bello El-Rufai who is the house of representative candidate, said “I’m welcoming you and  i must say you have made the right decision by joining the Progressives.”
Hafiz Bayero drummed support for the candidature of APC candidates in Kaduna North.
Earlier in his address, Alhaji Ashiru Sani the APC vice chairman in Kaduna North local government who is the Chief host, maintained that the mass decampment show that APC is progressing, and party was like a moving train whose time has come.
He added that the momentum which is consistently gathering in favour of APC and it’s candidates within the political landscape must be sustained.
Hon. Sani Rabiu Bako who is among the special guest, said on his speech that the momentum was evident in the defection of over two thousand card carrying PDP members in the state into the APC with the primary aim of lending their support All Progressive Congress (APC) ahead of 2023.
Also, Receiving the new members, the executive chairman of Kaduna North local government area,Hon. Mukhtar Baloni said it’s a thing of pleasure to welcome the defectors to the kaduna APC.
“I am very happy not because I am welcoming you back into the party but because there is no society that is good without good leaders and people of good intentions.
“This is the time for us to have the right leadership” 
Earlier in his remark, Hon. Awwalu Bakori campaign Director General for Hon. Bello El-Rufai, described the defection as a step in the right direction.
He said: “They have realised it is time to take the right decision and join the winning team. Thank you for finding it necessary to return to the progressive family and be part of the process of developing kaduna state.
 The APC state secretary in Kaduna, Hon. Yahaya Baba Pate the defectors have taken the right decision.”Because this is your party and the right party that has contributed in no small measure to the development of the state”.
The leader of the PDP defectors, Hon. Abba Usman Dankoli said: “We are from PDP and we decided to join APC because PDP has failed us because they care only about themselves and not the citizens.”

Why Uba Sani is the right choice for kaduna state.

 Senator Uba Sani to me is the most  qualified candidate among others. He is the man I believe can take kaduna state to a greater heights by making the state great again.
Sen  Uba Sani as a man with sound knowledge of economics and finance is in the best position  to handle kaduna state.
We need a man of conviction and courage like Uba Sani to govern kaduna state
We are aware that other governatorial candidates have said they will do it. We know they will not do it. We need a leader who can actualise what he says. That leader is Uba Sani
As a Senator, he ensure that devidens of democracy was taken to the grassroots.
He will promote good governance.Uba Sani has over the years, proved to everyone that he is a democrat.
He is now one of the strong pillars of the All Progressive Congress (APC)
Uba Sani’s legacy as Senator has prevailed in Kaduna state and Nigeria.
Uba Sani is a bridge builder, who has made friends across all the three zones of the state.
 He also does not discriminate when it comes to picking his aides. His major consideration is competence, not where you come from.
By all parameters, Uba Sani performed well in all the tasks he handled. He is an accomplished technocrat and politician.
I am aware that the issue of his choice of running mate in the person of Hajiya Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe did not go well with some of our Christian brothers in Kaduna state.
As a listening leader, he has already taken steps to assuage their feelings through dialogue.  I do not believe religion should play a role in deciding on the leaders that can bring good governance to the state.
The people of Kaduna state needs a well-rounded leader like Uba Sani. 
He has the education, experience and courage to take decisions. The problem with the state is not that of lack of resources but that of incapacity to harness our resources. There is no doubt that the state is not where it ought to be today despite our enormous resources. If we truly need a leader that can take kaduna state to its deserved destination, that leader is UBA SANI.

The women train of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign made a stop in Katsina State where hundreds of thousands of supporter trooped out to welcome Her Excellency Sen. Remi Tinubu and H.E. Haj. Aisha Bello Matawalle, the wife of Zamfara State Governor and Northwest chairlady of the Tinubu campaign.

During the event, more than 10,000 youths decamped from PDP to the APC citing the good leadership qualities of the Northwest coordinator as the reason behind their decision.

The decampees led by Alh. Masaudu Danguruf were all present at the event.

According to eye witnesses of the event that took place in Township stadium in Katsina city, thousands of young people were seeing matching in support of tinubu with placards, posters and billboards adorned with the pictures of Governor Bello Matawalle and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Some Kaduna State Stakeholders of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) on Sunday staged a protest at the party’s secretariat, calling for the substitution of the state governorship candidate, Alhaji Suleiman Hunkuyi.

The stakeholders told newsmen that Hunkuyi lacked the capacity to deliver the state for  NNPP in 2023 general election.

Malam Najib Zakari, a  stakeholder and the party’s candidate for Chukum state House of Assembly constituency seat, said that the emergence of Hunkuyi as the governorship candidate has brought disunity among party the hierarchy.

“The emergence of Hunkuyi  has brought disunity among the state party executives, local government executives and other candidates.

“Many people believed that he lacked the popularity needed for the party to win the  2023 election, some of  us feel that he is trying to trade the party with other political parties. Many people had wanted to join the party, but declined because of him.

“ As far as I’m concerned,  his candidature will negatively affect our chances at all levels in the state including the presidential election.

“If there is an opportunity to substitute him, it should be done so quickly,” Zakari said.

Also speaking, Hajiya Habiba Abdullahi Dogarawa, the NNPP Women Leader for Sabon Gari Local Government Area (LGA) of the state, said that the problem with the governorship candidate was his inability to carry others along.

“This is a politics, although I wouldn’t want to blame Hunkuyi entirely, I believe there are some party officials working with him to destroy the party.

“   I think the major problem is  his inability to carry the party officials along, I think substituting him is the  best option for peace and progress of the party, it should be done,’’ Dogarawa said.

She said that the only way out was for the party to request him to step aside to allow for a better candidate for 2023 poll.

Malam Magaji Kurmin-Mashi, a chieftain called on the national leadership of the party to intervene and ensure that Hunkuyi was substituted with a more popular candidate for  2023 poll.

Kurmin-Mashi, also the secretary of the state  NNPP stakeholders forum, said the party must act immediately if it wanted to win the  state 2023 governorship election.

He said, that the basic problem was the unforgiving attitude of the governorship candidate.

“I think that Hunkuyi is  popular and experienced  but his unforgiving  attitude is a  major weakness.

“I am afraid when we go out  for  election, this attitude will affect NNPP, please convince him to step aside so that the party will prosper,’’ he said.

Speaking, the state NNPP chairman, Mr Ben Kure, acknowledged that there were some disagreement among the state party executives, saying however, that the national leadership had been notified for action.

Kure said that the problem must be resolved, so that the party can approach the 2023 general election as a common front toward dislodging the ruling APC from the state.

“ It is a crisis which must be tackled immediately,’’ he said.

But,  Alhaji Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the party, said that the NNPP has no crises in kaduna state.

Galadima told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna that the party was poised to win the state governorship election in 2023.

He faulted the  accusations against the party’s candidate, saying that he was elected through free,fair and credible process.

 “ To the best of my knowledge there is no protest in Kaduna and  the party’s activities are on course to  winning the state 2023 governorship election.

 “ Anybody that has complain should follow due process, after all it is party affairs, whether you like  Hunkuyi or not, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has recognised him as the party’s governorship candidate for 2023 poll.

“INEC has also closed the  window for candidate’s substitution for 2023 except in  case of court ruling, voluntary resignation or death,” he  said.

He advised aggrieved party members to abide by its Constitution and channel their grievances through appropriate channels.(NAN)

The Director Media and Publicity , Presidential Support Committee (PSC) on the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna, Engineer Kailani Muhammad has said the discovery of oil deposits in the North will put an end to the much touted and misplaced propaganda that the North is dependent on the South for sustenance.

He expressed satisfaction that finally President Muhammadu Buhari broke the jinx of Oil and Gas economy politics by dragging the net around the country in his efforts to beef up the nation’s treasury trajectory.

The Chief Executive Officer of Northern based Liberator Newspapers, however said Nigerians should know that , “The oil and gas discovered in Gombe and Bauchi cannot be consumed by the indigenes of the two states alone, but it is for the benefit of the entire nation.

“What the generality of Nigerians want is; the diversification of the economy by the state Governors who wait in overseas locations only to come back to Nigeria when the free money from the Federation account is ready for collection.” He added .

Engineer Kailani Muhammad who stated while briefing journalists at the weekend on the giant strides of President Muhammadu Buhari in the Oil and Gas Sector, said the discovery of oil and Gas deposits in the North will boost the capacity to transform Nigeria’s energy potentials and rank as one of the greatest global energy boardrooms.

Kailani ,who is also the Coordinator of Network for Election Education, Sensitisation and Awareness, noted that apart from the Gombe Bauchi discovery, there are other locations in the Northern part of the country with large deposits of hydrocarbon.

He further hinted that the deposits will generally impact on the Nigerian economy.

He recalled that “On the 22nd of November, 2022, President Buhari made yet another milestone in his commitment to promoting Industrialisation,and balanced economic growth to our citizens by commissioning the OPL 809 and 810 at Kolmani in Gombe, Gombe state for the drilling of crude oil.

“But on one fateful morning, precisely, Saturday, the 2nd of February 2019, President Buhari landed at Kolmani River 11 well on the Upper Benue trough of the Gongola Basin and flagged- off the spud I of the wells. Barely 8 months later, being the 10th of October, 2019 at about 18.02 hrs, one of reservoirs at Kolmani well 11 was perforated and at 21.20 hrs hydrocarbon gushed out!! This is a hallmark of a goal- getter and achiever!!! This is a legacy that will live beyond this generation and forever. We cannot deny President Muhammadu this legacy.

Meanwhile, he appealed to President Buhari to ensure that explorations in these new locations begin before he exits office in 2023.

…says It Will Ease Traffic, Boost Commercial Activities, Create Jobs

The Director Media and Publicity , Presidential Support Committee on the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari gave assurance that the 2nd Bridge would be commissioned before President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office 2023.

He said apart from the thousands of kilometers of roads constructed across the nation, President Buhari has partially opened up the 2ND Niger Bridge to allow for hitch –free flow of traffic in the South East.

“With this partial opening, those wishing to travel to the Eastern part of Nigeria during the Yelutide period will experience a new dawn, devoid of the normal stress.”he stated.

Addressing journalists in Kaduna during he weekend , Engineer Muhammad Kailani ,who spoke on general infrastructural developments by the President Muhammadu Buhari’s government said the bridge will enhance the free movement of human traffic, boost commercial activities, create job opportunities and stimulate host community economic activities.

According the him, the 2nd Niger Bridge has been in the pipeline for ages now.

While speaking further on the giant strides of Buhari’s administration in the areas of transportation , he said, “Despite the billions of naira spent by the federal government in both capital maintenance and dredging of the River Niger to make it all-year round navigable and boost economic activities on the waterways, the operations of the inland water transport sector still remains a far cry.”

He further explained: “Let it be noted that the River Niger and its tributaries were the most reliable channels of transportation and communication in the pre-colonial and the post colonial period. It still remains one of the most critical natural assets that hold good prospect for economic diversification in Nigeria.

“Until the late Umaru Musa Yar’adua emerged the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the move to dredge lower River Niger had remained a recurring project for every administration since independence.

“In 2008, the late president signed a N34.8 billion contract for the dredging of the lower River Niger from Warri to Baro and inaugurated the project on September 10, 2009 in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State, with a three-year completion plan.He later did an upward review of the project with an additional N8.5bn, thus putting the entire estimate cost of the project at N43.3bn. The review was hinged on inflationary spiral.

“This initiative was meant to, among other reasons,make it navigable so as to enhance economic activities, reduce burden on highways, minimise accidents and create employment.

“But so far, there is no significant navigational proof to show that the project which is expected to commence from Warri to Baro, has ever commenced. Surprising former president Goodluck in January 2014, declared officially that his administration had completed the dredging of 527km lower River Niger from Warri to Baro.

“But what is on ground shows that the project is bogged down by ethnic politics and outright corruption by past administration over the years.”
